What is Robotic Process Automation (RPA)

In this blog, we will discuss about latest technology, What is Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and tools. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is technology that’s easy for anyone to use to automate repetitive task. With RPA, users can create software robots, or say “bots”, that can learn, and train and then execute rules-based business processes anytime.

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is cost effective and time saver technology. With very less programming skills, user can implement and execute less, medium or complex business processes using any RPA tools.

Example of some automation using RPA – Scrap any web data or submit form, connect to APIs, send or read emails, excel operations, read from PDF (structured/unstructured) and many more like this.

Types of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) –

Below are the types of RPA. You can say, there are two types of “BOTS”. Both play an important role in an RPA deployment.
1. Attended automation – These type of BOTS don’t need human intervention while performing any automation processes.
2. Unattended automation – On other side, These BOTS run automatically and work on its own without any human intervention and execute entire process end to end independently.
